To promote and support North Carolina physical education through advocacy, professional development, and education to develop physically educated individuals and support a physically active North Carolina.
In addition to providing top quality conference programming at the NCAAHPERD-SM annual convention, the North Carolina Physical Education Association (NCPEA) holds annual Physical Education Leadership Training and Regional Training's. These events routinely feature the nation's best physical educators and presenters!

Nominations and applications for NCPEA awards are accepted at all times of the year, however the deadline is July 1 of the current year. Nominations or applications made after that date will be considered for the following year.
Please take a minute to think of colleagues, teachers, administrators, college students and physical education programs you feel are deserving of recognition. You can find a list of the awards and their criteria here.
